Colin Howell is a Northern Irish convicted double murderer, born on March 14, 1959. He killed his wife Lesley and the husband of his lover, Trevor Buchanan, in a case that resembled a suicide pact. Their bodies were found in a car in 1991. Howell, a deeply religious dentist and former lay preacher with nine children, confessed the murders in 1998. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2010. Additionally, he was convicted of sexually assaulting female patients in 2011, leading to the loss of his NHS pension.
