Colin Jones (August 8, 1936 – September 22, 2021) was an English ballet dancer, photographer, and prolific photojournalist of post-war Britain. He documented various aspects of social history, including the vanishing industries of the Northeast, delinquent Afro-Caribbean youth in London, the hedonistic 'Swinging London' with images of The Who at the start of their career, racial unrest in Alabama, Soviet Leningrad, and rural Britain. Jones passed away in September 2021 at the age of 85.
