Colin John James Robbins (born 5 February 1905) was a South African left-handed tennis player known for his remarkable stamina and ball retrieval capabilities, earning him the nickname 'the robot' of the South African Davis Cup team. He was a two-time national champion and represented South Africa in the Davis Cup in 1929 and 1933, winning four singles rubbers. Robbins also competed at major tournaments like Wimbledon and the French Championships, reaching the third round at Wimbledon and the fourth round at the French Championships in 1933. He was the son of Bristol-born William Clark Robbins.
