Colin Tilsley was an Indian-born founder of Gospel Literature Outreach. Born to missionary parents, he was educated in England and served in the British Army. After marrying Cynthia in 1957, he moved to Australia, where he studied at Emmaus Bible School. He established Gospel Literature Outreach in 1965 and worked until illness from motor neurone disease hindered him. He passed away in 1981 in Sydney. Tilsley's contributions significantly impacted evangelical literature outreach.
