Curtis 'Colt' Terry was a prominent U.S. Army officer and one of the original Green Berets. He served in various combat roles, including two tours in Korea and three in Vietnam. After joining the Army at age 16 by forging his birth certificate, Terry rose through the ranks to become a Lieutenant Colonel by 1970. He dedicated over 23 years to training others as a Green Beret instructor. Terry passed away on September 15, 2005, due to pancreatic cancer.
