Columba Blango is a Sierra Leonean–British politician and former athlete, born on April 23, 1956. He competed in the men's decathlon at the 1980 Summer Olympics and later moved to the UK, serving as a Liberal Democrat councillor and Mayor of Southwark. He was the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Camberwell and Peckham in the 2010 general election, where he increased votes by 1.9% but was defeated. His son also competed in the Paralympics, winning a bronze medal in 2020.
