Cornelius Lysaght is a British journalist and broadcaster born in 1965 in Gloucester, England. He served as the BBC's horse racing correspondent from 2001 to 2020 after joining BBC Radio in 1990. Educated at Eton College, he began his broadcasting career in 1981. Lysaght contributed to various media outlets and authored a book titled 'World Racecourses' in 2018. He is a supporter of Everton F.C. and has owned several racehorses. He parted ways with the BBC in 2020, as announced in December 2019.
