Cosmas Silei is a former Kenyan middle-distance and hurdles runner born on September 10, 1948. He competed in the 1500 meters at the 1972 Munich Olympics but did not advance past the heats. He won a gold medal in the 800 meters at the 1973 African Games in Lagos. Silei also participated in the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch, where he finished fifth in the 400 meters hurdles while again not advancing in the 1500 meters.
