Cosmin Chetroiu is a Romanian luger born on March 31, 1987, in Petroșani, Hunedoara County. He has been competing in luge since 2000 and has been a member of the Romanian national team since 2003. Chetroiu competes in doubles with Ionuț Țăran. The duo made their World Cup debut in the 2005/06 season, achieving a best finish of 16th in Altenberg. They participated in the 2006 European Championships, finishing 18th in doubles and 9th in team events, and participated in the 2010 Winter Olympics, finishing 17th.
