Cyprian, born Michaił Wikientjewicz Ziornow, was a Russian Orthodox bishop known for his extensive service in various parishes. He began his clerical career as a bell ringer and later held roles such as sacristan and lector. In 1944, he was ordained as a deacon and subsequently became a priest. Cyprian served in several churches, including notable positions in Moscow, Berlin, and Finland. He became a bishop in 1961 and was elevated to archbishop in 1963, overseeing various ecclesiastical jurisdictions until his retirement in 1966, living in Moscow until his death.
