Sir Cyril Chantler (born 12 May 1939) is a British paediatric nephrologist known for his significant contributions to the field, including a method for measuring glomerular function in children with Norman Veale. He also researched diet and growth failure in children suffering from renal impairment. Chantler is particularly recognized for the independent review of public health evidence he conducted on standardized tobacco packaging, known as the Chantler Review, which influenced regulations leading to standardized packaging for tobacco products.
