Dagmar Andrtová-Voňková is a Czech guitarist, composer, and singer, born on May 13, 1948, in Hradec Králové. Initially, she studied at a pedagogical faculty but pursued various jobs while immersing herself in music. Her career began in 1971 when she participated in a music competition. Renowned for her innovative guitar techniques, she plays with one or two bows and uses her fingers creatively on the strings. In the 1990s, she composed music for a play at the National Theatre, and in 2010, a book of her lyrics, poems, and drawings was published.
