Dagmar Meyer, born Süß on November 7, 1931, in Grünhain, was a prominent German dialect speaker and author known for her works in the Erzgebirge dialect. Living in Bernsbach, she authored ten dialect books, a novel, 50 sketches, and over 30 plays. After participating in the Bavarian Dialect Days in 1994, she initiated the Erzgebirge Dialect Days in 1995 and organized them until 2003. She passed away on November 16, 2021, in Bernsbach, where she was buried in the family circle.
