Daisuke Kinoshita (born February 9, 1974) is a Japanese astronomer specializing in the study of asteroids and comets within the solar system. He was born in Suginami, Tokyo, and pursued his education at Tohoku University and Tokyo University of Science, completing his master's in 2000. He obtained his Ph.D. from SOKENDAI in 2003. After relocating to Taiwan, he joined the National Central University as a researcher and is currently a professor at their Astronomy Research Institute.
