She previously worked as a model in Hong Kong and graduated from Hangzhou Normal University with a degree in broadcasting and hosting. In 2012, she represented Zhejiang in the Miss Asia pageant in Hong Kong, although she did not win. She later signed a contract with TVB as a Mandarin entertainment news anchor in May 2018, but ended her contract in August 2018.
