Kenneth Dale Cassens was an American politician and school board member from Florida. Born on April 8, 1935, in Fort Pierce, he was a citrus farmer and businessman. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1957 and served as a Democrat in the Florida House of Representatives from 1977 to 1978. The Dale Cassens Exceptional Students Education Center in Fort Pierce is named in his honor, focusing on individualized education for students. Cassens passed away from a heart attack in 1987 at the age of 52.
