Damal Kandalai Srinivasan, born in 1933, is a notable Indian social worker, businessperson, and philanthropist. He co-founded the Hindu Mission Hospital in Chennai and serves as the secretary of Valluvar Gurukulam, an institution for refugee children founded in 1940, now known as Valluvar Gurukulam Higher Secondary School. In recognition of his significant contributions to society, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award, by the Government of India in 2016.
