Dan McFarland is an English rugby union coach and former player, born on April 10, 1972. He played as a loosehead prop and had stints with teams such as Richmond, Stade Français, and Connacht before retiring in 2006. McFarland transitioned into coaching, serving as forwards coach and then assistant coach for Connacht, head coach of Emerging Ireland and Ireland Wolfhounds, and assistant coach for Glasgow Warriors and Scotland. He was appointed head coach of Ulster Rugby in 2018, a position he held until 2024.
