Dan Podeanu, born on February 7, 1952, in Poroina Mare, Mehedinți County, is a Romanian fencing coach. He trains Romania's Olympic men's saber team, which achieved remarkable success under his leadership, winning the World Championship twice in 2010 and 2011, and securing the European Championship title five times in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2015.
