Dan'emon Ōdachi (real name: Yamamoto Danjirō, later Ishida Danjirō) was a sumo wrestler from Hōnaba, Japan, born on October 6, 1923. He competed in the top division of sumo and achieved the rank of East Komusubi in March 1955. Standing 194 cm tall and weighing 180 kg, he was known for his left-handed techniques, particularly yori (pushing) and sabaki (swaying). After retiring from active competition, he took on the elder name Sakakawa.
