Daniel Farrands, born on September 3, 1969, is an American filmmaker known for his contributions to the horror film genre. He gained prominence as the screenwriter of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995). Farrands has worked extensively as a producer, writer, and director on various films. His notable works include producing The Haunting in Connecticut (2009) and directing the documentary Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy (2010), which focuses on the A Nightmare on Elm Street series. He also created Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th (2013).
