Daniel Kevin Sodickson is an American physicist specialized in biomedical imaging. He is renowned for his work in parallel magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), significantly improving imaging speeds through innovative detector arrays. Sodickson is a past president of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and has received a gold medal for his contributions. Currently, he holds several prominent positions at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, including Vice-Chair for Research and Director of the Bernard and Irene Schwartz Center for Biomedical Imaging.
