Daniel Lewis Karbler is a retired lieutenant general of the United States Army, who completed his last assignment as commander of the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command from 2019 to 2024. He previously served as chief of staff for the United States Strategic Command. His academic background includes a B.S. from the United States Military Academy, an MBA from Benedictine College, and an M.A. in strategic studies from the Naval War College. He is also an alumnus of the Army Command and General Staff College and the National War College.
