Daniel Romero (born December 23, 1983) is a Spanish screenwriter and filmmaker based in Madrid. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Carlos III University of Madrid and has trained under notable directors like Enrique Urbizu and Pablo Berger. His short film 'Juan con miedo' (2010) was selected for over a hundred international festivals. He continued to create terror-themed short films, 'No mires ahí' and 'Cambio', and collaborated on 'Ella y la Oscuridad' (2020), selected for various festivals. Romero has also directed several series episodes for Atresmedia and worked on the award-winning podcast 'La Esfera'.
