Daniela Zanetta was an Italian member of the Focolare Movement in the Roman Catholic Church, born on December 15, 1962. She suffered from a rare skin disease throughout her life, which led to skin tears, blistering, and frequent hospital visits. Despite her illness, Zanetta strived to lead an ordinary life, engaging with her friends and contributing to her local parish. She joined the Focolare Movement in 1973, inspired by its founder Chiara Lubich. Her path to beatification began in 2004, and she was named venerable by Pope Francis in 2017 for her heroic virtues.
