Danilo Carrera Drouet is an Ecuadorian businessman and banker born on 13 October 1938 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He served as President of Banco Guayaquil from 1983 to 1984. Drouet is noted for being the brother-in-law of President Guillermo Lasso, also a former president of Banco Guayaquil. He was named in the Paradise Papers as vice president of an investment firm in the Cayman Islands. A report published on 9 January 2023 implicated him in a corruption plot, which contributed to an impeachment inquiry against President Lasso.
