Dankert Thuland (1911-1976) was a Norwegian police officer and resistance member from Bergen during World War II. After completing his education at Bergen Cathedral School, he joined the Bergen Police Department in 1931. Thuland was a prominent figure in resistance activities, managing to gather information for the Norwegian resistance while posing as a liaison with German authorities. After his arrest by the Gestapo, he escaped to England, where he worked in intelligence until the war ended. Post-war, Thuland played a key role in investigating collaboration in Norway.
