Danny Miles is a retired American basketball coach, born on October 9, 1945. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Oregon Institute of Technology for 45 years, from 1971 to 2016. During his tenure, he led the Hustlin' Owls to three NAIA Division II National Championships and achieved his 1,000th win on February 1, 2014, ranking fourth all-time among men's college basketball coaches. He was inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame on March 29, 2018.
