Darell Lee Garretson was an accomplished American professional basketball referee known for his 27-year career in the NBA from 1967 to 1994. He wore uniform number 10 and officiated over 2,000 games, including 1,798 regular-season, 269 playoff, 39 Finals, and five All-Star games. After retiring as a referee, he served as the NBA Supervisor of Officials for 17 years. In 2016, he was honored with an election into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as an official, recognizing his significant contributions to the sport.
