Drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the ninth round of the 1964 draft, he played six games in his rookie year. Later, he joined the Denver Broncos where he had a more impactful season in 1966, recording 34 rushing attempts, 84 rushing yards, and a touchdown. His professional football career concluded after the 1966 season.
