Darren 'Doc' Wheildon is a former Australian rules footballer born on November 11, 1970. He played for Fitzroy in the AFL, notably scoring a seven-goal haul in his third game. Wheildon had an impressive 1992 season, marking his career-high with eight goals against Sydney, and finishing the season with 41 goals. However, he faced numerous controversies, being sent to the AFL Tribunal multiple times. After leaving Fitzroy, he played for West Adelaide before being drafted by Essendon, but a serious injury from a taxi accident ended his career without him playing a game.
