David C. Costa is a former NFL and CFL offensive lineman born on September 8, 1978, in Erie, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Wisconsin, where he was part of two Rose Bowl-winning teams. Costa played in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers and had stints with the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers. He also played in the CFL for the Toronto Argonauts, winning the Grey Cup in 2004. After retiring, he became a Nationally registered Paramedic and currently serves as a Firefighter in Pittsburgh.
