Dave gained fame by participating in the third season of the Taiwanese singing competition show 'Super Idol,' where he reached the top 20. He also competed in the show 'Tomorrow's Star,' making it to the fifth round. His first solo album, titled 'Good Love,' was released on November 25, 2011.
