David Joseph Jacobs, born on July 15, 1957, is a former American football kicker and punter. He had a professional career spanning ten seasons across teams in the NFL, including the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and Philadelphia Eagles, as well as in the USFL with the New Jersey Generals and Pittsburgh Maulers. Jacobs also played in the Empire Football League and returned to the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings and again with the Eagles. He concluded his career in the Arena Football League with the New England Steamrollers.
