David Avram Goodman (born December 13, 1962) is an American television writer and producer known for his work on popular series such as Family Guy, The Golden Girls, and Futurama, where he co-executive produced the Star Trek parody episode 'Where No Fan Has Gone Before.' He also contributed to Star Trek: Enterprise and produced the film Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. Additionally, he wrote the comedy film Fred: The Movie and its sequel, Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred. Goodman served as President of the Writers Guild of America West from 2017 to 2021.
