David B. McCall Jr. was an American banker and politician, who served as Mayor of Plano, Texas, from 1956 to 1960. He was the CEO of the Plano Savings and Loan Association for over 25 years before its collapse in 1989. In 1997, he was convicted of fraud involving $25 million in fraudulent loan records, leading to a 5-year prison sentence. Just days before his death in 2004, he received a presidential pardon from George W. Bush.
