He created the Bárcenas B-01 crop-dusting aircraft in the 1970s and successfully manufactured over ten units in Uruapan, Michoacán. He began his aviation career as a mechanic's assistant and later focused on aircraft maintenance. His significant contribution includes the development of the 'Barcenas profile,' enhancing aircraft lift and control. The B-01 was certified by the DGAC, with its first flight on June 8, 1973. Despite its success, financial constraints hindered further production.
