David Bazan is an American indie rock singer-songwriter born on January 22, 1976, in Phoenix, Arizona. He is well-known for being the lead singer of the band Pedro the Lion and previously led another band called Headphones. In 2006, he began his solo career performing and recording under his own name, and he returned to performing as Pedro the Lion in late 2017. Currently, he resides in Seattle, Washington.
