David Avery Curtiss is an American professional swimmer born on July 4, 2002. He holds the US Open record in the 4×50-yard medley relay and won the silver medal in the 50-meter freestyle at the 2019 World Junior Championships. In 2021, he set the American high school record for the 50-yard freestyle. At the 2022 World Short Course Championships, Curtiss won a bronze medal in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay. He achieved NCAA Division I championship status in the 4×50-yard medley relay in 2023.
