David Rodney Doig was a celebrated rally co-driver from Kenya, born on 15 June 1939. He achieved notable success in the World Rally Championship, securing his first victory at the prestigious Safari Rally in 1974 alongside driver Joginder Singh. Doig started his career in rallying in 1973 and continued to compete regularly at the Safari Rally until 1981. He garnered another win in 1976 with Singh and left a mark on the rallying community before passing away on 26 May 2015 at the age of 75.
