David A. Edwards is an American biomedical engineer, born on April 6, 1961. He is known for founding Sensory Cloud and was a Gordon McKay Professor of the Practice of Biomedical Engineering at Harvard University. His work focuses on the design of inhalable medicines, vaccines, and foods. In recognition of his contributions, he was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering in 2001 for innovating a novel aerosol drug-delivery system that successfully translated scientific principles into industrial applications.
