David Michael Egger, born on March 7, 1987, in Oberndorf bei Salzburg, is an Austrian politician from the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). He served as the Vice Mayor of Neumarkt am Wallersee starting in 2019 and has been the chair of the SPÖ Salzburg since July 1, 2020. He was a member of the Federal Council from July 8, 2020, until June 13, 2023, and is currently a member of the Salzburg Landtag, where he was elected club chairman. He was elected mayor of Neumarkt am Wallersee in March 2024.
