David Foster was an Irish equestrian born on March 26, 1955. He excelled in his sport, representing Ireland in three consecutive Summer Olympics in 1984, 1988, and 1996. Sadly, his life was cut short when he was killed in a riding accident in 1998. In honor of his legacy, his wife Sneezy established the David Foster Injured Riders Fund the following year, aimed at providing financial assistance to injured riders.
