David G. Peterson (born 28 October 1944) is a prominent scholar of the New Testament and an ordained minister in the Anglican Church of Australia. He served as a senior research fellow and lecturer at Moore Theological College, Sydney. He was also the Principal of Oak Hill Theological College in London from 1996 to 2007 and held a visiting professorship at Middlesex University. Educated at esteemed institutions, his PhD focused on 'The Concept of Perfection in the Letter to the Hebrews.' Currently, he teaches part-time and conducts an introductory preaching course.
