David Hafler (February 7, 1919 – May 25, 2003) was an American audio engineer known for his advancements in audio amplifier technology. He co-founded Acrosound and later Dynaco, producing affordable high-quality amplifier kits for hobbyists. Hafler was a pioneer in passive pseudo-quadraphonic audio in the 1970s and established the David Hafler Co. in 1972, renowned for legendary amplifiers like the DH-101 and DH-200. He sold his company in 1987, and it continued producing high-fidelity audio products, later acquired by Radial Engineering Ltd. Hafler passed away in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
