David Herbert 'Peter' Booth was an English clergyman and educator, serving as the Archdeacon of Lewes from 1959 to 1971. He was also the Headmaster of Shoreham Grammar School from 1972 to 1977. Booth was educated at Bedford School and Pembroke College, Cambridge. His ministry included positions as a curate and chaplain, and he served in the RNVR during World War II. He held the role of Rector of Stepney before becoming Vicar of Brighton, and he was honored to be an Honorary Chaplain to the Queen.
