David Jassy is a Swedish musician, singer, composer, and record producer of Gambian descent. He was a member of the Swedish hip hop group Navigators in the 1990s, alongside Andrés Avellán, releasing the album 'Daily Life Illustrators' and various singles. After the group disbanded, he founded a production studio and collaborated with several Swedish artists and international musicians including Ashley Tisdale and Charice. In February 2010, he was convicted of second-degree murder for the death of John Osnes in Los Angeles and was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.
