He became a member of the Union of Composers of the USSR in 1968. Krivitsky composed over 2000 works, including 8 operas, 5 ballets, 4 symphonies, 36 instrumental concertos, 4 cantatas, about 70 sonatas, and numerous vocal and choral pieces, as well as music for films and theater productions.
