David Lyon Perewonrimi is a Nigerian politician who was the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress in the 2019 Bayelsa gubernatorial election. Despite being declared the winner, his election was invalidated by the Supreme Court of Nigeria the day before his inauguration due to issues with his running mate's qualifications. The court subsequently ordered the issuance of a certificate of return to Douye Diri of the People's Democratic Party, who had finished second.
