David James MacMyn was a Scottish rugby union player, who earned international caps for Scotland from 1925 to 1928. In addition to his sports career, he was a qualified surgeon and served as the 72nd president of the Scottish Rugby Union. MacMyn was born on 18 February 1903 and passed away on 16 March 1978, leaving a legacy in both rugby and medicine.
